A Song a Week 51: The Bad Felt – Danger’s No Stranger

This might be my favorite Bad Felt song. Either this or Capital I. I was influenced by the original on the bass line, and I think that adds a whole other layer to it. The original was new wave, but i think the bass gives it a more reggae feel on our version. And as always, Bren killed it with the vocals. This band would literally be nothing without his input.

they always sound better than i expected.
i ended up not rerecording the background vocals, mostly because of time. but i think the timing fit well enough. i like how the bgvs keep going at the end, even when you’re not singing.
